I love candles by this company. This candle does smell like Fraser fir with a sort of burning firewood smell because of the wick. It crackles a little while burning. It looks really pretty too. Looks like I will need to order another one soon.

It didn’t burn even at all, and was rendered useless after a very short period of time. My money was refunded so I appreciate that. It’s just disappointing because it had so much potential.

This is my favorite candle of all time because it offers a multi-sensory experience. Not only does it smell like a frasier fir, but it also crackles like a fire when lit. It smells and sounds like winter around the fireplace at my childhood home. I bought a new one because the one I bought a few years ago is finally near the end of its life. These candles last a long time with casual use.

Candle would have been perfect if it hadn’t been broken during delivery. Unfortunately both the original packing and the Amazon box didn’t account for the thin glass and somewhere along the road it was probably dropped and the glass broke. It’s getting returned and I’ve ordered a replacement which unfortunately probably won’t arrive until January. Hopefully the replacement is packaged better and doesn’t arrive broken. As far as the candle itself – the woodwick Frasier Fir is o e of my favourite scents and the wood wick itself is really enjoyable.

LOVE the smell of Frazier Fir and Pine. This candle satisfies that. It has a nice warm glow and the jar can be used to make a craft, hold candies, store buttons, store pins, etc.

Really wonderful scented candle with a deep green wax that burns quite cleanly with no smoke, and a really great fragrance. These are the Rolls-Royce of candles, friends. It only smokes a tiny bit immediately after snuffing, but covering it quickly with the provided lid after snuffing alleviates any problems with that. I love that you don’t have to deal with drippy wax or getting something to hold this candle, it is self contained and so very easy to use. And the fragrance is the best I have experienced, it is very real and does not have that “synthetic” off-gassing that causes headaches. Just light ’em up and enjoy!

Wish I could return this garbage candle!
I used to buy Woodwick candles all the time and loved them. I hadn’t bought one in a long time and thought it would be a nice gift to myself – the ellipse shape looking elegant and the Frasier Fir a nice scent for the holiday. I don’t know if it’s the shape of this one, but it was a disaster. The wax does not burn fast enough so the wick just keeps drowning in the wax accumulation. It got to the point where I had to literally scoop out a bunch of wax, making the seemingly elegance candle quite ugly and even then the wick just never burned the same after being drowned in wax. Now there is the sizzle sound with barely a flame and the wick will be overcome with more wax shortly. Such a disappointing purchase. See photos of the beautiful flame that it starts out with, followed by the sad candle it quickly becomes.

If you get good ones of these candles, they are amazing! I ordered one in the beginning of December and it came like a perfectly good candle. No issues and when I saw that they were on sale recently, I ordered two more. However, those came extremely damaged and it looked like maybe they had been subject to high heat and perhaps previously melted? The wicks, which are made of wood, were also damaged and made them unusable. I don’t know if they’re just trying to move through backstock or what but the quality seems to vary depending on when you ordered. Planning to re-order after returning these and hoping to get good ones again.

Good gift for men and women, as the fragrance is not to heavy and earthy- like holiday greenery.
The candle wick is novel, in that it is a a small section of wood-like material. When burning, it makes a low crackling sound, almost like a tiny fireplace.
Aesthetically, the shape of the candle is like a football, so again good for man-cave decoration.
Once candle wax is used up, the holder with wood-like top can elegantly store cotton swabs/balls, candy or jewelry.
I first received mine as a gift and have since given 2 more to other friends. Highly recommend.
