There is no better candle than a Yankee when you go into a store and you smell the candles they smell amazing but then you get home and light them and they don’t smell like anything. You don’t get that with a Yankee my house smells like a Christmas tree it’s absolutely gorgeous. It’s not too strong but strong enough to know it’s there. It lasts a very long time. I started using this candle about two weeks before Christmas and I love the scent! I am still using it now because it lasts so long. It is very effective at making the whole house smell like a fresh Christmas tree. The 22oz jar is a great value since it burns for so many hours without losing its strength. It’s definitely my favorite holiday candle.

This is a medium-strong scent. It could be my imagination, but I think it smells better and stronger when a candle warmer is used (vs lighting the wick). I prefer a pure balsam, but this is very nice and I bought it on a great sale, so am satisfied with the value.

Not too much smoke. Eventually, as the candle burns down, the top of the glass container gets covered in black soot, affecting esthetics for some. Still, there’s no risk of wax dripping, so they’re clean.
No tunneling, but you do have to let it burn until all the wax is melted (no hard walls on the sides).
The glass feels strong and substantial. I haven’t had issues with glass breaking during use or during transport. They’re shipped to you in sturdy, thick, well-insulated packaging.
Since my area is prone to blackouts, I keep a lot of candles at hand. I also like them for smell and ambiance. I bought about 10 of these when they were on sale, and none arrived broken!
If you lay one on its side in warm weather (which happened to one of mine during transport), then the wax softens and pools sideways, and can make the wick inaccessible. What I did was set the candle upright in a pot of hot water (in such a way that the hot water touched the walls of the jar and would soften the wax, but without there being so much water that it poured inside the jar). That reset the wax and revealed the wick. Problem solved.
Amusingly enough, Amazon wants me to review this candle’s “taste”! I can’t speak to that!

This is my favorite scent, especially around the holidays. It burns perfectly and the scent lasts throughout the burn time, sometimes candles seem to lose their scent. Very much worth the price I paid!

Awesome candle that has a great scent that last through the entire candle. It has a nice long burn time if you trim the wick after each use keeping it short. The candle does not have a waxy smell when in use like some candles do. They are a bit pricy compared to other cheaper candles but or well worth it.

Ordered this candle before i went away on holiday for a week. Came back from holiday yesterday with the blues knowing i was back to work monday. Found my candle that had come while i was away and just lit it. Holiday blues now disappeared, i’m sitting here enjoying the beautiful christmas tree scent, its spread all over my large lounge and you can smell it in the hall. Yankee Candles are the gold standard of jarred candles.
This particular one has an excellent pine tree scent that is distributed throughout the candle. It keeps putting out the right amount of scent through about 7/8 of the candle. The scent does give at at the very bottom but I don’t think that can be helped. I have tried several other brands and the scent is overly heavy at first and gone 1/2 way through.

I absolutely love the new Yankee Candle. The wax appears smoother, I presume it’s soy based, but the scent is exactly the same. Possibly even a tad stronger. I noticed on the packaging it said Yankee Candle & Woodwick, so I believe a merger or sale has taken place. It turns out to be awesome for customers like me who use candles daily. The color pops now, a gorgeous, fun green (I got mistletoe), the wick length is as you would expect, and they kept the size of the jar. I burn this particular scent all year round, despite its Christmas association, so I jumped at this sale. Great price!! I’m even considering buying a few more—especially since the one I ordered arrived without a scratch.
I HIGHLY recommend Yankee Candle. And just as a tip, whenever you burn it, let it burn the entire way across, that way it burns evenly for the life of the candle (instead of a hole in the middle).
